Ark Forge is a small independent site. It collects only the information needed to run the reader and understand which chapters people reach.
Adults only, 18+. Ark Forge includes mature fiction and art. Themes can include death, identity loss, violence, grief, power imbalances, explicit sexual content, and body change.
Anonymous reader analytics
The site records basic, anonymous events such as a page visit or the last chapter reached. These records can include the landing or page path, site version, reader edition, chapter label, broad device type, broad country, the referring site's hostname, and the utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign tags on campaign links.
Ark Forge never stores the full referring address, raw IP address, name, email address, or Patreon identity with these events. A random visitor identifier is used only to count readers without identifying them. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, it does not send analytics. Analytics are used to improve pacing, understand where readers stop, and learn which links bring people to the site. Ark Forge does not sell reader data.
Open reader access
Thornfield's public illustrated edition currently includes two distinct books: Volume One, from the Prologue through Chapter Ten, and Volume Two, from Chapters Eleven through Nineteen. Reading requires no account, subscription, or supporter status.
Patreon does not unlock story content. Existing administrative authentication may still use a secure session cookie, but it is not part of the reader experience and does not change which chapters are available.
Browser storage and cookies
- An age-confirmation preference keeps the 18+ gate from appearing on every visit.
- A secure session cookie may be used for private site administration; it is not required for reading.
- An anonymous identifier cookie supports reader analytics.
- The illustrated reader requires no account and stores no cloud save.
Service providers
Cloudflare hosts the site and its data. Patreon may be used only for private site-administration authentication; it does not unlock reader content. Google Fonts supplies the public typefaces used on the storefront. Each service may process connection information under its own terms.
